It’s that time of the year again – the search for a perfect pair of boots; I guess my runners need to be put away or just left in my gym bag because I’ll never stop wearing them. But the temperature has dropped and it’s time to invest in something more durable and water-resistant.
I looked in my wardrobe and all I have are either black high ankle boots or flat black boots (all look identical). It’s always black that catches my eye and I know they’re very reliable and look great with most outfits but I would love something different, so here I am on a search to find a perfect pair of boots with a twist so let’s see what’s on offer!
Thanks to the Kardashians, the sock boots are well and truly in fashion and if I was to invest I’d probably go for this black (NOT AGAIN) pair from Zara because they are that bit dressy and the heel is a nice block heel. I’d only wear them with skirts and dresses so I’d want something stylish. If I wanted to make a statement I’d go for these unbelievably gorgeous Blue Satin High Heel Boots, again from Zara. I’d buy them right now but of course all size 6’s are gone 😭They’re just divine! I sort of fell in love with these burgundy Knee-High Boots from Stradivarius, they look more expensive than €59.95 don’t you think? They have wooden-like heels so I’m not sure if they would be super comfortable but you never know!
But I think at the end of the day, we all want a pair of comfy flat boots that feel and look good. And I know it’s hard to find a nice flat shoe, but I think Chelsea Boots are a good investment this fall. I really like the simplicity of these Grey Suede Chelsea Boots from ASOS and similar ones from River Island in tan colour (they come in grey also).
Time to wrap up warm and enjoy the weather! Have a great week ! 😊
