Review: Kerstin Florian Luxury Skincare

Hi girls,

Today I’m reviewing two amazing products from Kerstin Florian – a luxury skin care brand which uses natural and organic ingredients. I purchased them after my relaxing spa treatment in the Spa Salveo at the Knockranny House Hotel, Westport. My spa therapist was extremely informative about skin care and upon analysing my face recommended me these products for dehydrated skin (I also reviewed another brand for dehydrated skin here). I’m so relieved I finally know my skin type (as confirmed by a couple of different beauticians) therefore I’m more confident spending money on good luxury brands that produce good quality skin care.

So first up is this Rehydrating Neroli Cleansing Milk.

This cleansing milk is great for removing make up without stripping skin of moisture. I found that it thoroughly removed make up even after one go as I find that other gentle cleansers need two or three goes before your make up is completely washed off. It contains nourishing botanicals such as neroli oil, apricot kernel oil and aloe Vera to soothe, hydrate and protect skin. Perfect for my sensitive skin.

I also got recommended this Rejuvinating Spirulina Masque (I love it, this girl really knew her stuff).

This stimulating masque is packed with powerful vitamins, minerals and proteins from marine super-foods to improve circulation and cell function, detoxify and increase collagen production.

This is what it’s made of for anyone interested (taken from their web):

Ingredient Highlights:
• Spirulina Algae – nourishes and fortifies the skin with 63% protein, 8% minerals and a full spectrum of vital nutrients
• Chlorella – rich in chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals and trace elements to optimize skin function
• Laminaria Digitata – brown sea algae offers powerful anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects by promoting metabolism and collagen production
• Kaolin – fine clay naturally detoxifies, removes impurities and exfoliates dead skin cells

Sounds good right?! I think anything organic and not perfumed is bound to be good for your skin.

So when 15 mins is up and its time to wash it off I try to massage it into my face to further absorb all the goodness from it. It really does leave my skin more plump and glowy.

I believe Spa Salveo is the only spa stockist of this beautiful brand in Ireland but I will do a bit of research and see if they’re stocked anywhere else!

I really want to try ALL of their products, they are all packed with amazing ingredients, I think my next investment will be the correcting hyaluronic serum!

And yes they are quite expensive, but I don’t know any award-winning luxury skin care that’s cheap and if you do please tell me!!

Have a fabulous night,
