I made this quick pizza wrap accidentally after I totally failed at making pizza dough from scratch! I said I’m not going to give up and have my pizza tonight!! And oh my goodness am I glad I did, I had pizza wraps for the next three nights after that because they were so good and they are so easy and quick to make! Of course another reason I’m a fan is because they don’t have huge calories so you can enjoy this and not feel guilty. Normal pizza would amount to twice of the calories of this pizza if not more!
Note: I’m trying to eat less dairy (or none at all if possible) so in my recipe I used dairy-free cheese. There aren’t many ingredients at all, mainly just what toppings you like!
Calories per one pizza wrap using my ingredients: 379 kcal, 41.9 g carbs, 29.6 g protein, 8.8 g fat.
- Dunnes multi grain wrap
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Viola life dairy-free cheese
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 calorie olive oil spray
- 1 cooked chicken breast
- 1/4 red onion
- Whatever you like
Preheat your oven at 200 degrees.
Spray some olive oil on the parchment paper and place your wrap on it. Dollop 1 tbsp of tomato paste on it and spread it all over evenly. Sprinkle your favourite cheese all over too.I boiled the chicken breast for 15 mins (or until fully cooked) before cutting in into small pieces and arranging it on the wrap. Chop red onion into slices and arrange all over the pizza. You can add more cheese on top if you desire. Last but not least sprinkle 1 tsp of oregano for that real Italian Pizza smell. Place your pizza wrap in the oven for about 8-10 minutes until cheese has melted and corners of the wrap browned a bit. (Keep an eye on it).To include some greens, add a handful of rocket. Cut it into half and fold it over or eat it like a pizza!Enjoy! Hope it tastes just as good as my one did!
