I don’t know about you, but I can’t go about my day without breakfast. I literally never ever skip breakfast, like I can’t even describe it to you how much I love my breakfast!!! But anyways you get the idea. So expect a lot of breakfast ideas on my blog.
This one is very easy and if you don’t have much time in the morning it’s ideal as it only takes around 5 minutes.
- 40 g porridge oats
- 250 ml soya (or any plant based milk)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinammon
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 small to medium ripe banana

Add chia seeds to porridge oats and pour soya milk all over; mix together. Let it soak for a couple of minutes or more if you have more time. I usually have my cup of tea or do my make up then.Microwave the oat mixture for 30 seconds and mix. Repeat this 3-4 times until your porridge looks thick but not dry. Never over cook it. Even after the third go, your porridge will continue to cook even when it’s not in the microwave. If you findd that you over cooked the porridge, add some hot water or more soya milk (a small amount at a time).
So when your porridge is ready, dollop the peanut butter in the middle or mix it together. Slice the banana into thin circles and arrange on top of the porridge. Sprinkle with some cinnamon. I layer it in cinnamon 😀Of course you can add different fruit, whatever you like. If you leave your oats overnight in the fridge, you can mix in frozen blueberries.
I usually leave it overnight in a maison jar if I know I’ve an early modelling job in the morning.
